Downed tree cuts power to over 2,000 Chilliwack residents

CHILLIWACK — BC Hydro says a tree has come down across its power lines in the middle of the night, cutting power to roughly 2508 customers southeast of the city.
The outage began at around 3:25 a.m. in the area east of Majuba Hill Road, along Chilliwack Lake Road.
Crews are currently on-site for repairs, and power is expected to be restored by 9 a.m.
