Update: Power restored to over 3,500 after power outages in Langley, Aldergrove

UPDATE 10:10 A.M. TUESDAY: Power has now been restored to over 3,500 customers in the Langley and Aldergrove area. As of 10:10 a.m., there is one remaining outage impacting 132 customers in northeast Langley Township.
Original story from 7:26 a.m. Tuesday morning:
LANGLEY/ALDERGROVE – Three power outages affecting much of Aldergrove and broad sections of Langley Township have left thousands without power into Tuesday morning.
According to BC Hydro’s online dashboard, 2,465 customers in Aldergrove lost power at 8:56 p.m. Monday night due to a downed tree across hydro wires.
Crews are on site and power is expected back on by 10 a.m. Hydro’s website was last updated at 7:04 a.m. for this outage
A second outage is impacting customers in northeast Langley Township. Roughly 1,171 customers lost power at 6:06 a.m. Crews are on their way to this outage and should arrive by 7:45 a.m. there. The cause is under investigation.

A third outage in northeast Langley Township occurred at 11:38 p.m. Monday night involving a tree down across hydro wires. This one left 132 customers without power. Power is expected back on by 9 a.m.
