CHILLIWACK – Police in Chilliwack say an arrest involving an unspecified family dispute has been made at a child care facility in Sardis.
Yellow caution tape was found outside a child care facility Wednesday morning (July 22) in the 7100 block of Vedder Road.
Chilliwack RCMP spokesperson Corporal Carmen Kiener released a brief statement about an arrest that occurred there.
“I don’t have any information on why police tape is at that location,” Cpl. Kiener told Fraser Valley Today in an email at 9:52 a.m. “But I can confirm we attended that location for a disturbance, and it appears to be an isolated incident involving a family dispute. One person has been arrested and removed from the location.”
Cpl. Kiener says nothing appears to have occurred inside the child care building, nor does it appear related to the daycare.
There is no indication the daycare facility or its staff are under investigation in connection with the incident.
