Police issue new appeal for tips, info on missing Mission man

MISSION – Police in Mission are issuing a new appeal for any tips and information, no matter how minor they might be, about a missing man two years after he disappeared.

At the time of his disappearance on July 7, 2024, Darion Parker was 25 years old.

He’s described as an Indigenous male, 5’10”, 190 pounds, with bleached brown hair, a man bun, tattoos under both eyes, a love tattoo on his hand, and a nose piercing.

Mission RCMP spokesperson Constable Paul Gill says police do not have any new information that they can publicly release as part of the investigation. The file remains open and investigators continue to review any information received.

Fraser Valley Today asked about any tips or information they’ve received over the past two years that might advance the investigation.

“As is common with long-term missing person investigations, police have followed up on information and tips received over the course of the investigation. However, we are unable to discuss specific investigative steps, leads, or information provided by family members,” Cst. Gill said.

He said the purpose of the renewed public appeal is to generate awareness and encourage anyone who may have information, no matter how minor it may seem, to come forward.

“Even after a significant period of time has passed, new information can prove valuable to investigators,” Cst. Gill said.
