Missing 33-year-old woman located deceased: Abbotsford PD

ABBOTSFORD – Police in Abbotsford now say a 33-year-old woman who was reported missing in December 2025 has been recently located deceased.

Abbotsford PD spokesperson Sgt. Paul Walker released a statement Wednesday confirming that the circumstances surrounding Sonam Ramola’s death are not considered suspicious.

Over the past several months, investigators continued their efforts to locate Ramola.

“On behalf of AbbyPD, we extend our sincere condolences to Sonam’s family, friends, and all those affected by this loss,” AbbyPD.

Back in December 2025, police issued an urgent plea to the community seeking Ramola’s whereabouts. Later, Ramola’s vehicle was found parked beneath the Mission Bridge close to Tall Road and Riverside Street. Central Fraser Valley Search and Rescue was deployed to the area to conduct a coordinated search.
