47-year-old man reported missing from Abbotsford, but his car was found in Vancouver Sunday

ABBOTSFORD – Police in Abbotsford are appealing to the public for help in locating a 47-year-old man who was last seen over two weeks ago but his vehicle was located in Vancouver earlier today.

In a statement, the Abbotsford Police Department says Van Cuong Nguyen was last seen on August 26, 2026 in the 1600 block of Bradner Road at approximately 11:30 p.m. He had been driving a brown 2009 Lexus RX350.

He is described as 5’8″ tall, 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police say it is not known what clothing he was last wearing.

On Sunday, September 13, Nguyen’s Lexus vehicle was located in Vancouver along Boundary Road; however, Nguyen was not with the vehicle and remains missing.

Anyone with information regarding Mr. Nguyen’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Abbotsford Police Department and reference File #26-38654.
