Wanted woman could be in Hope or Kamloops area

COQUITLAM — Coquitlam RCMP are asking for the public’s help locating a 43-year-old woman, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant of committal. Chelcey Hodder was first reported missing October 23 after failing to return to her facility as required.

In a news release, police say their Investigational Support Team has tracked Hodder to Hope and believe she may still be in the area or travelling to Kamloops.

Hodder is described as a white woman, 5-foot-2 and weighing 90 pounds, with brown-blonde hair and hazel eyes. She has a star tattoo on her right wrist. When last seen, she was wearing black pants, shoes, a shirt and a black jacket with black fur. She was also wearing a colourful beaded necklace and glasses.

Police are warning the public not to approach Hodder if they see her, but to call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact their local police agency and quote Coquitlam RCMP file No. 2026-27834.
