Police were notified about an unconscious man along Keith Wilson Road near the Tyson Road roundabout on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 28, at approximately 2:20 p.m., according to a statement from Chilliwack RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Carmen Kiener.
RCMP members and emergency services personnel responded to the area. Despite life-saving efforts being administered at the scene, the man was pronounced deceased, Cpl. Kiener confirmed.
The man has been identified, and his name will not be released out of respect for the family’s privacy, Cpl. Kiener said.
