Veltman to run for Harrison Hot Springs council, stresses importance of listening and village well-being

HARRISON HOT SPRINGS – Harrison Hot Springs resident Greg Veltman has announced he will run for a seat on the village council in this fall’s municipal election.

Veltman, a married father of two young children, says he’s running because he wants to contribute to a council that is thoughtful, transparent and focused on serving the community well.

“I believe good local government begins with careful listening, consideration of different perspectives, and decisions that are fair, respectful and grounded in the long-term well-being of our village,” said Veltman.

He and his wife are grateful for the people, relationships and sense of community that make Harrison Hot Springs an ideal place to live.

He pledges to give each resident the voice they deserve and carefully consider a number of perspectives.

“Over the coming months, I hope to hear from residents about the issues that matter most to them, what Harrison is doing well and where we could do better over the next four years,” Veltman said. “Listening is where good decisions begin, and I look forward to the conversations ahead. Whether we have met before or not, I welcome your thoughts.”
