HOPE — Highway 3 east of Hope has now reopened with some limitations as the Manning Park Complex of fires continues to burn from Manning Park to Sunshine Valley.
DriveBC says there is single-lane alternating traffic for two kilometres in the stretch of the Crowsnest Highway between Skagit Bridge and Cayuse Flats.
“Please be cautioned that closures could happen again on very short notice,” said DriveBC. “Please obey all signage and traffic-control personnel in the area.”
Highway 1 through the Fraser Canyon remains closed.
Drivers are urged not to stop in the fire zones and to take the Coquihalla Highway if possible.
