CHILLIWACK — A former Chilliwack resident is bringing spice and steps back home for the summer with a month-long dance lesson series at the heart of the city.
Paul Preibisch, or Salsa Paul, has been dancing salsa for over 20 years and has taught in both Canada and Mexico.
He is now offering those salsa and merengue lessons to the community with weekly Latin Dance Nights at The Grand Hall, located at 201 45939 Thunderbird Lane.
From 6 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday starting July 28, residents are invited to an hour of beginner salsa and merengue class, followed by an open social dance floor. No partner or experience is required for the lessons.
The grand finale is set for Friday, August 25.
Lesson tickets can also be presented to Hugo’s at District 1881 for free churro bites with the purchase of an entrée.
Anyone interested can register at the door or online through The Grand Hall’s website.
