3 in hospital after collisions on Yale Road Sunday

CHILLIWACK —Three people have been taken to hospital after a motor vehicle incident on Yale Road Sunday (Aug. 2).

The Chilliwack Fire Department, along with roughly four RCMP vehicles and three ambulances, were paged out to the crash in the intersection of Yale Road and Kerr Avenue at around 10:55 a.m.

Images from the scene showed debris from the collision involving what appeared to be a Hyundai Sonata hitting a traffic pole and a Kia Seltos, with both vehicles’ bumpers destroyed.

The three patients are in stable condition.

Crews were working to clean up the area as of noon.
