Firefighters called to structure fire Saturday night in Chilliwack (VIDEO)

CHILLIWACK – Firefighters in Chilliwack were called to a structure fire in Chilliwack Saturday night.

According to an audio recording provided by Chilliwack resident Julie Hiscock, Chilliwack’s duty chief, Engines 1 and 4, and Tower 1 were all paged at approximately 10:18 p.m. for the report of a house on fire. Hiscock, a witness at the scene, reports that it is on South Drive, just off Landing Drive.

Fire crews are battling the fire as of 10:35 p.m.

William Snow estimates six Chilliwack Fire Department engines attended the scene to battle the fire.
