47-year-old missing man located deceased: Abbotsford Police

ABBOTSFORD – Police in Abbotsford now say a 47-year-old man who was last seen in late August in Abbotsford has been sadly located deceased.

In a social media post, the Abbotsford PD says investigators continued their efforts to locate Van Cuong Nguyen over the past several days, but learned he had sadly died.

“Tragically, Van Cuong has recently been located deceased,” police said.

The circumstances surrounding his death are not considered suspicious, police said.

“On behalf of AbbyPD, we extend our sincere condolences to Van Cuong’s family, friends, and all those affected by this loss,” AbbyPD said.
