Langley RCMP seek witnesses following home invasion, shooting at residence

LANGLEY – Police in Langley are appealing to the public for witnesses following a shooting and home invasion that happened on 205 Street in late September.

According to a statement from Langley RCMP spokesperson Corporal Mansoor Sahak, Langley RCMP responded to a shooting in the 3000 block of 205 Street just after midnight on Monday, Sept. 28.

Cpl. Sahak said one person was taken to the hospital as a result of injuries sustained from the shooting.

Following the incident, officers from the Langley RCMP Serious Crime Unit initiated an investigation to determine what happened leading up to the events, Cpl. Sahak said.

Officers canvassed the area for video surveillance and located a white SUV and a grey-coloured SUV in the area. Police suspect the occupants of these vehicles might be witnesses to the incident.
