CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack Chiefs have signed forward Peter Murray of Edina, Minnesota as the club looks to boost its scoring.
Murray, who stands 6-foot-1 and weighs 190 pounds, adds size to the Chiefs’ forward group.
He recorded 35 points, including 19 goals and 16 assists, in 28 games with St. Thomas Academy during the 2025-26 season, while serving as an assistant captain.
Murray subsequently joined the Minot Minotauros of the North American Hockey League before beginning the 2026-27 season with the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League.
Chiefs head coach and general manager Brian Maloney said Murray brings a combination of size and speed to the lineup.
“We’re a little undersized up front, and we’re looking forward to having him help strengthen the offensive area of our game,” Maloney said.
The Chiefs have averaged less than three goals per game through their first 15 contests of the season.
Chilliwack is in Prince George Friday night in their next game.
